Thousands of people think it is inappropriate to ask for money when she has millions in the bank and want to know why she doesn’t cover the expenses herself. In a statement, the actress explained that she has been constantly helping finance the team.
“The media asks me if I have contributed financially to my son’s baseball team,” he said. wrote in X. “I’ve paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, I’ve organized birthday parties and I’ve sponsored any kids who can’t pay the monthly fees.”
“The kids also do fundraising themselves – car washes, movie nights, and lots of other fun things!” She continued. “Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the gofundme! “It has made things easier for these children and their families.”
Milano initially shared the fundraiser on January 25. The post explained that the team is trying to pay for a trip to Cooperstown. Proceeds will cover uniforms, league dues and travel costs. The remaining money will go toward “pins and novelty items to make our tournaments memorable experiences beyond the field.”
The goal was set at $10,000. At that time, they were only $2,000 short of reaching the amount.

Despite sharing that she often bears the expenses of the baseball team and its members, people continued to criticize Alyssa Milano.
“There’s nothing wrong with rich people’s children raising funds and learning skills,” someone commented. “But tapping into your audience to raise money for them doesn’t teach them anything.”
“Millionaires who beg are trash,” added another.
“You are so deaf,” one user wrote. “You have millions of dollars and you are asking other people less fortunate than you to pay for your son’s team to travel. You are ridiculous.”
While the controversial publication has created problems for the Delighted actress, this hasn’t stopped people from donating. In fact, the negative comments have pushed some people to donate.
“The media is ridiculous in many ways,” someone wrote. “I’m clicking GoFundMe now to help.”
