“I’m literally on the floor of the bathroom in the suite. “I thought I was going to go home, I thought I was going to have to call 911, I felt like I couldn’t breathe,” she shared.

In addition to talking about her experience at the US Open, Alix also told her followers how she deals with her anxiety.

“No. 1, and I know this is very difficult, but I like to tell someone that I don’t feel well, that I have anxiety,” he said. “It’s helpful to have someone there, you know, that if something happens to you, they can get help or do something.”

Alix went on to share that she likes to practice breathing exercises to calm herself and then distract herself by talking about things like the food she ate that day.

“That helps calm the nervous system and have a better mental space,” he said. “You’re just going to go down this rabbit hole in your head going crazy, so you need, as hard as it is, to find something else.”

Alix emphasized that she tells fans about her anxiety in hopes of helping others cope with theirs.

“I just wanted to make this video because I was able to get out of that headspace, and we stayed and had a great time. Years before, when something like this happened to me, I usually ended up leaving,” she explained.
