Sophia Leone urged her fans to “go out and appreciate life a little more” in a touching final social media post before her passing. The Miami-born adult film actress was discovered “unconscious” in her New Mexico apartment on March 1.
In September, she shared a touching message with her 300,000 Instagram followers. “Go out and appreciate life a little more today,” the 26-year-old wrote alongside an image of her flashing a peace sign at the camera in the post, sporting white sunglasses and a white purse slung casually over her shoulder.
According to the New York PostLos Angeles-based agency 101 Modeling, responsible for managing some of Leone’s bookings, said his death is under investigation as a “burglary homicide.”
“Our hearts are broken by the tragic and untimely death of our beloved Sofía Leona. A beautiful spirit that touched many of us. RIP, sweet angel, and you know how much we love you,” 101 Modeling wrote in X.
Heartfelt tributes continued to pour in for Leone as news of his passing spread.
“I am so sorry to anyone who knew Sophia. “She and I interacted several times, but we were never very close,” wrote adult film actress Riley Jean in X.
“If anyone needs someone to talk to, feel free to message me. “This is a difficult time for all of us,” Jean added.
Adult film actress Penelope Woods also expressed her sadness over Leone’s passing. “I give my deepest condolences to Sophia, you were nothing but genuine and kind to me and made me laugh the few times we hung out, it really upsets me that you were taken from this world,” Ella Woods wrote.
Leone’s stepfather, Mike Romero, started a GoFundMe campaign, using the platform to express the family’s grief.
“It is with great regret that I have to share the news of the death of our beloved Sofía. “The sudden loss of Sophia has left her family and friends devastated and shocked,” Romero wrote.
“Sofia was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend. She had a deep love for all animals, specifically her 3 pets. “She liked to travel and she always found ways to make everyone around her smile,” she added.
Sophia Leone made her debut in the industry in 2014. She has appeared in over 80 films according to her IMDb page.
