Aditya Yadav was born in 2010 (age 13 Years; as of 2023) in Village Bichhiya, district Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. She was pursuing her middle school education in 2023. In an interview with a media house, her father, Digvijay, shared that he was filled with joy when Aditya was born. However, after two years, he discovered that Aditya could not speak, which left them disappointed. He then went to Delhi for her treatment, and the doctors suggested a cochlear implant for Aditya, but it cost Rs. 15 lakhs. Aditya’s family members managed to arrange the money, but when Digvijay noticed some other children who had the implant surgery and faced more difficulties afterwards, he became worried and decided not to proceed with the treatment. Her family members also remembered the challenges Aditya faced from an early age as she cannot speak. However, she did not let this stop her and began playing badminton at the young age of 5. She began participating in national badminton tournaments at the age of 9. At the age of 12, she started playing in international events.

Career
At the age of ten, Aditya Yadav achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first female player from India to take part in the Deaf World Championship held in Chinese Taipei in 2019. Additionally, she won a gold medal in the Yonex Sunrise Hamish Infrastructure UP State Championship during the same year.
In 2019, Aditya Yadav participated in the Uttar Pradesh Games of the Deaf Badminton tournament and won a Gold medal in the singles championship.
In 2022, Aditya Yadav competed in the Deaflympics held in Brazil. She won a Gold medal in the team championship by defeating Chinese Taipei in the semi-finals and Japan in the final.
Later, Aditya Yadav won several medals including a Gold medal in Under 21 Girls Doubles, a Silver medal in Singles, and a Bronze medal in Mixed Doubles during the Asia Pacific Deaf Youth Badminton Championship in 2022. She then won a Gold medal in Women’s Doubles and a Bronze medal in Women’s Singles as well as single and double Silver medals in the team event of the 3rd Junior World Deaf Championships in July 2023.
