Adele reveals that she stopped drinking and explains when she stopped drinking

Adele is on the path to sobriety.

The “Hello” superstar, 35, revealed during his weekend residency in Las Vegas that he quit drinking and quit alcohol more than three months ago.

“I stopped drinking about three and a half months ago,” Adele said in her Weekends with Adèle show, through daily mail.

He added that “it’s boring” to stop drinking, but he drank too much when he was younger.

“I mean, I was literally on the verge of alcoholism for much of my 20s,” Adele revealed. “But I miss him a lot.”

He also shared during his concert that he “eliminated caffeine.”

“So enjoy your whiskey sour. “I’m very, very jealous,” Adele told a fan on the show, who said she had been drinking all day before going on the show.

She previously revealed that she stopped drinking at one point after her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki and the death of her father Mark Evans from bowel cancer in 2021, during her CBS special interview with Oprah Winfrey.

“That’s a great way to know yourself: just drink water and be sober,” he had said at the time.
