Actor Christian Oliver and his two young daughters die in a plane crash

Christian Oliver, best known for his role in wrong turn and speed runner, She reportedly died along with her two young daughters in a plane crash off a Caribbean island on Thursday, January 4. She was 51 years old at the time of her death.

According to Page Six, Oliver and his daughters Annik and Madita were aboard the plane heading from the island of Bequia to nearby St. Lucia when their single-engine plane “plummeted into the ocean.”

The pilot and owner of the plane, Robert Sachs, also died in the accident. The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police reported that the plane experienced difficulties just before the crash. In particular, Sachs contacted the Bequia control tower to report the problems and his return plan. His last communication with the tower was made just before the accident.

Together with the authorities, fishermen and divers quickly arrived at the scene to save the passengers. Unfortunately, their bodies were recovered and they were all declared dead. Page Six also revealed cellphone video that captured the moment the plane crashed into the water.

“The selfless and brave act of the fishermen and divers is greatly appreciated,” the authorities stated. At the moment no further details have been revealed about the plane’s problems before it crashed.

Oliver shared Annik and Madita with Jessica Mazur. With speed runner and wrong turn, Oliver had roles in other successful films such as Valkyrie, Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny, and The good German.

Following reports of the deaths of Christian Oliver and his daughter, the late actor’s social media followers quickly took to his Instagram account to share their reactions to the news.
