Leo Singer was born on 31 July 1991 (age 32 years; as of 2023) in Sendhwa, Madhya Pradesh, India. From his maternal grandfather he inherited his interest in Hindustani classical music; And gave his first stage performance at the age of 5.
During his school days, he used to listen to a lot of music and when he heard the song “Mitva” from the film Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (2006), he was so impressed that he sang it on all occasions and in all competitions.
Although he was to become an engineer, his passion for music took him to AR Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory in Chennai; Which he considers to be the best decision of his life.
