Regarding his professional career, Aaron was selected 32nd overall in the first round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft by the New York Yankees for a price of $1.8 million.
He tore his quadriceps femoris muscle during baserunning practice and was unable to play in any games during the 2013 season. He made his professional debut with the Charleston RiverDogs of the Class A South Atlantic League in 2014.
