Andy was born in Beijing, China on December 14, 1997 and spent most of his childhood there. Also, at the age of six, he showed an interest in golf and was already working with a coach. Andy moved to Bradenton, Florida with his mother when he was 10 years old to play golf. At the age of 14, he holds the record as the youngest player to ever compete at the US Open.
