But instead of having a bunch of mutants hailing from Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, this one has the good guys converge on a place called Summerland.
But before we meet them, we are introduced to the main protagonist named David Haller or later known as Legion, when he finds out that he is actually not a diagnosed schizophrenic but a boy endowed with psychic abilities like his father, Charles Xavier. marvel defenders
Let the MCU create another show that intersects with the narratives of its independent heroes. This time, there is an overarching theme that can be defined in many ways: being an advocate. So, naturally, the show’s title is marvel defenders.
This exciting team-up show from Marvel and Netflix brought together the angsty heroes who don’t really need to prove themselves; they just kick some ass when necessary, as they feel more human helping others that way. This team has a defense attorney in the person of Matt Murdock or Daredevil. Private investigator Jessica Jones is here and she’s still suffering from PTSD, but she’s trying to work with this team. Bulletproof Harlem’s superhuman hero Luke Cage also makes time to work on the team. The fourth hero here is Danny Rand, whose hand heats up, thus becoming Iron Fist. With this kind of team defending society, it’s easier to sleep at night since they take care of all the things that go bump in the night.
The show premiered in 2017, but was part of the shows that Netflix didn’t renew after canceling all Marvel shows in its lineup. But talks are underway to revive this again. In the meantime, you can watch the season via VUDU, Google Play, Fandangonow, Hulu, and Netflix.
titans
titans should be familiar with doom patrol viewers because this is the original show and Doom Patrol was its spin-off. They share characters here to cross their stories. This one, however, is led by an older version of Dick Grayson, popularly known as Robin, Batman’s sidekick. He is now a detective helping misfit outcasts who, it later turns out, have nurturing powers.
Rachel Roth is the goth girl that Dick befriends and helps out here. She has a kind of dark self that is released when there is trouble. Together, they also meet unique people: there’s Kory, a woman who suffers from amnesia but has fire super powers; a guy named Gar who can turn into a tiger; and a younger Robin who takes the reins left behind by Dick. They also meet other like-minded people in the same body with powers that help them from time to time, such as the tandem pair of Hawk and Dove.
There’s plenty of action here with all these personalities in tow! Its first season came out in 2018 and this DC Universe-Netflix co-production can be seen on both of its streaming services.
small village
Before streaming media was invented and commercialized, and before all these intersecting universes took place in our favorite Marvel or DC veins, there was a show that did it for the first time on TV: small village.
From that title alone, we’re so sure it’s from the DC Universe since small village is the name of Superman’s hometown where he grew up. It is true that this 2006 series explored the adolescence of young Clark Kent, played by Tom Welling, when he meets the first love of his life, Lana Lang, and his later love, Lois Lane, when he starts working in Metropolis. Kent’s parents are here too, along with his friends from high school. His adventures always began with the discovery of mysterious cases related to the Kryptonite that fell on his city, causing monsters and misfits that the young Superman learns to fight.
So where is the hybrid here? Well, one day, young Clark finds himself mysteriously beaten up by a speedy guy named Bart Allen, who later turns into the Flash. He also meets a fast swimmer named Arthur Curry, later known as Aquaman. Clark then meets and rescues the semi-machine teenager named Victor, later known as Cyborg. Clark also befriends the young CEO Oliver Queen, who is also The Arrow; He even dates Lois Lane here! It was Oliver’s idea to bring together this group of extraordinary crime-fighting heroes they called the Justice League. This tandem entered the series around the sixth season onwards. Aside from that, Clark also meets a long-lost cousin named Kara, who teaches him the ways of Krypton, that is, how to fly! And yes, you guessed it, she is Supergirl.
