The Labyrinth of the Ancients is the first of three raids in the Pylon Alliance raid series. It’s also the first 24-player role most people encounter in the game, and one of the most popular in your Daily Alliance Raid Roulette Game.
For new players looking to de-stress, many of the guides they read or watch will contain a lot of irrelevant information, as experienced players will safely ignore specific combat tactics or skipping battles. boss battle with high DPS.
My goal in writing this series of guides is to give you the most relevant information on how content is currently playing, as well as tips to help you continue to make a meaningful contribution to the success of your attacks. . For each section, some notes tell you everything you need to know about playing the encounter as your chosen character. Below, I’ll add any other notes about the battle.

Alliance Raid Basics
– You will see two new elements in your HUD: This is the team list of the two remaining teams in the raid. It displays the player’s work and health, as well as a red box outlining who currently holds aggro.
– You can locate players by clicking on them in the alliance list. Very useful to call another healer party or heal the main tank if they are on a different team.
– You can train and heal single-target players on other teams, but some of your skills are only available to members of your team. For example, you can’t dodge enemy tanks, nor can you heal non-party members with AoE healers like Medica, Succor, or Helios.
– Above your party list, it will tell you which party you belong to (A, B or C). Sometimes the sides need to be separated and signposts are used to show where each side is going. If no signs are placed, usually A goes to the left, B goes to the middle, and C goes to the right.
Dungeon Mob – Clean up the forgotten pool
– Stand on high platforms to avoid poison pools.
– Mob Valefor has front and rear cone attacks.
tank
– All tanks should try to get aggro and bring it back to the team to deal AoE damage.
– Causes the Valefor and Greater Demon mobs to turn away from the party, as they do not signal a frontal attack.
– You can interrupt Dila Hell II or black fog AoE with interference.
doctor
– Monitor the health of all party members. Between poison, unmarked cuts, and uneven tank attack, the damage distribution can be unexpected.
Mob Valefor has a sick cone breath attack that slows movement speed and heals. Dispel it with Asuna.
damage per second
– Avoid standing in front of Valefor mobs to avoid their disease debuff. It is safest to stay aside.
– Break Dila’s spells with Head Rub, or stun monsters with Leg Sweep.
Boss Battle – Bone Dragon
– Stand on a raised platform, focusing on the Skeletal Dragon. Then kill Platinum Skull and repeat.
tank
– The main tank pulls the boss far north while still on the platform. Pick you up when you come back to life.
– evil eye Can be interrupted with an interjection.
– Offtank can grab the Eye of Rot mob on the center pedestal after the dragon’s second respawn to prevent them from attacking the healer.
doctor
– Tanks can be far north, so stay within range while avoiding poison.
– Kill the Platinum Skeleton mob after taking down the dragon.
– When Platin runs towards the dragon carcass, they will deal high damage without ignoring the shield. Ready for AoE healing.
damage per second
– Not much room to maneuver on the platform, but avoid splitting on the tank.
– Boss can use his and leg sweep evil eye Can be interrupted by rubbing the head.
– Kill the Platinum Skeleton mob after taking down the dragon.
– Be ready to use “Wind of Resurrection” when the platinum monster runs to the dragon carcass and explodes.
Dungeon Mob – Clearing the way of lament
– Divide the alliance into groups A, B, C. Don’t start too early; you need to have enough players in each lane.
– Four players must stand on a colored platform at the entrance so other alliances can damage their Atomos.
tank
– Continue with Atomos. Drag them towards the back platform when adding spawns so the ranged healers and DPS can hit them.
doctor
– Stay on the platform behind until it stops glowing.
– Hit them when they come in range.
damage per second
– You need two DPS to stay on the back platform with the healer until it stops glowing. Hit them when they come into range. Remote controls and wheels are best for this.
– Another DPS should move forward and focus on Atomos, melee DPS will be preferred.
I’ve seen a lot of teams start this teamfight early and it’s very annoying because it can add time to the end of the fight, with enough players queuing up and the rest of the alliance just waiting for them. end. If you don’t enter before the 15 second countdown, you will automatically be placed in the leftmost lane (where Alliance A normally goes).
Boss Fight – Thanatos
– Alliance A starts with the debuff “Astral Alignment” for 60 seconds, causing them to damage Thanatos.
– Every 30 seconds, the next alliance will receive a lanyard and debuff and will start attacking Thanatos
– If you don’t have the debuff (or have expired), kill the Sandman and Nemesis monsters.
tank
– If your alliance gets a second debugger, anger Thanatos when it’s time to switch.
– interrupt the boss sunset blade Use the Interject attack to avoid being hit back.
doctor
– If the blue pot is low, it can be healed, but can be ignored because the enemy dies very quickly.
damage per second
– Nemesis moves very fast. Melee DPS may need to stun them with a front leg sweep or mid-sandman attack.
– You can help interrupt the boss sunset blade Hit it with a head pat or stun it with a paw sweep.
Here’s another part that you shouldn’t pull early because it will actually take longer, not less. The Astral adjustment effect only applies to nearby players at the start of the battle, so if Alliance A isn’t already there, those party members will miss out on all boss damage.
Dungeon Mob – Clear Fire Path
– Divide the alliance into groups A, B, C.
tank
– Take your specified Vassago and place it away from other groups. Pick up the Allagan balloon and ignore the Napalm bomb.
doctor
– If Vassago or Napalms reach the center allagan bomb, watch out for their AoE damage.
damage per second
– Focus on your designated Vassago, stop and kill the Molotov balloons and cocktails that appear next to it.
– You can stun the balloon with a leg sweep.
All the tanks need to be ready here, as you need to keep the Vassagos apart. Napalm ignores hostilities, so tanks can leave them for DPS to destroy. When they reach the center, they will explode. A therapist can fix this, but it can get a little messy if there’s too much left to explode.
Boss Battle – King Behemoth
– Using the green marker, place the comet outside the Behemoth damage box, near the center of the arena.
– During this period zodiac meteor Cast spells by hiding behind a rock, breaking the giant monster’s line of sight.
tank
– The main tank faces the Behemoth away from the crowd with a non-signaling split attack.
– Offtanks Pick up more Iron Giant and face it at the edge of the arena (remember to put a rock between you and the boss).
doctor
– The floor is electrified, so watch out for bleed damage from your team in teamfights.
damage per second
– Added Kill Purroboros and Iron Giant
The iron giant adds a cut that will damage both the player and the rock, so direct them away from both. Remember that if a comet falls inside the Behemoth’s damage box, it will not protect you from zodiac meteor.
Boss Fight – Phlegethon
– Divide the alliance into groups A, B, C.
– Monitor the health of Phlegethon. About 50% and 25% he started ancient flares Actors, so save the sprint for this and run back to your team platform. Each platform requires at least four players to raise the barrier.
tank
– after each ancient flares The boss has a heavy AoE when attacking the main tank, so hurry to the position opposite it and stay away from the raid to avoid splitting the others.
doctor
– Stay near the edge of the arena to attract Iron Claw and quickly return to your platform.
– Consider rescuing slow players from the arena during matches ancient flares throw.
damage per second
– Focus on Iron Claw appearing behind you, they will grab the player closest to them.
– Use abilities like Elusive Jump, Shukuchi, or Aetherial Manipulation to help quickly retreat to your team’s base if needed ancient flares.
If I had to guess, I’d say 20-30% of the time I’ll be watching this battle when we wipe out a ancient flares throw. Either too many new people, or not enough followers. That said, a good team can handle high enough DPS for you to kill him before he finishes his second use.
Pro Tip: Make sure to leave the instance quickly after Phlegethon shuts down so you don’t get stuck with 8 old loot shards clogging up your inventory.
