The Night Sisterhood of Dathomir is a matriarchal society of witches who use the Force to perform magic that the Jedi believe to be illusions. Dooku then sent General Grievous to destroy the Night Sisters, and in the end, the young Night Sister named Merlin was the sole survivor. The Night Sisters are also loyal to each other, refusing to get involved in galactic affairs like the Jedi and Sith.

The Knights of Ren are a group of dark side looters that follow the path of Ren, the red lightsaber wielded by the leader of the order. They refer to the dark side as “darkness” and often require cooperation in order to use the Force’s abilities. This caused the Sith to despise the Knights of Ren, even though they were one of the few Force groups that survived Palpatine’s Purge. Ren’s knights then recruited Ben Solo after he fell to the dark side, training him their way until he killed Ren and became their new leader, though in the end he killed them all after returning to the light.
8 Acolytes of Transcendence
Directly inspired by the Sith, the Acolytes of the Other Shore are a dark side sect that emerged after the fall of the Empire. The Acolytes did not consider themselves Siths, but rather religious fanatics who worshiped fallen Siths and were believed to be associated with the spirit of the Sith Lord. Their practices include following Sithism, destroying Sith lightsabers to return them to their owners after death, and even sacrificing sentient beings. They also launched a number of raids and revolutions throughout the New Republic, but despite their efforts, this seems to have subsided before Palpatine’s return.

Ordu Aspectu is a small Jedi order that seeks to prolong life indefinitely. They were founded around 20,000 BBY, thousands of years before the Black Hundred Years that led to the birth of the Sith. The history of the Ordu Aspectu is largely shrouded in mystery due to various accounts of their identity: some believe they are a selfless, nonviolent group created to protect life from All living creatures, while others They are a dark cult that sacrifices the Padawans to achieve their goals. Whatever form they take, Ordu Aspectu distinguishes itself from the Jedi and Sith by seeking life long before death which either group considers possible.

Royal Inquisitor in Star Wars Canon may serve the Sith, but the rule of two means that they are not true Sith Lords. Most of the Inquisitors are former Jedi who were either recruited by Palpatine before Order 66 or coerced by Darth Vader through torture. A Force user is considered a god-like being, father, daughter, and son living in the ethereal world of Mortis. Each represents a different aspect of the Force, and they retreat from the rest of the galaxy to preserve their power. They don’t need the lightsabers that the Jedi and Sith wield, siblings immortal as long as their father is alive. After his son kills his daughter, Anakin Skywalker restores balance by killing his father when he dies. The mural of Mortis the Force God was later found in Losthor as an entrance to the world between worlds.
4 Lacatan Infinity Empire
Long before the founding of the Galactic Republic, the infinite Rakatan Empire ruled the galaxy. Although not much is revealed about Rakata in the canon, they are a type of user of the dark side of Legends, using their abilities to conquer countless worlds. They created a weapon called the Forcesaber, a shadow weapon used by the Jedi to create the first lightsaber. The Rakatan Infinite Empire was eventually destroyed by a plague that only affected Rakata, turning the people of the galaxy against them. In the canon, Rakata is said to have created hyperspace travel.

Guardians of the Whills is a Jedha-based order to protect the Temple of Kyber. Although most members are not as sensitive to the Force as the Jedi, the Guardians still believe in oneness with the Force, preferring to listen and try to understand the will of the Force. Similar to how the Jedi make lightsabers, the Guardians make lightsabers as part of their tradition. The Temple of Kyber was eventually captured and plundered by the Empire, stripping the Guardian of its original purpose. After the city of Jedah was destroyed by the Death Star, Guardians Chirrut Emvi and Baze Malbus joined Jyn Erso on a mission to steal the space station’s plans.

The priestesses of the Force live in the Fountain of Life, representing the connection between life force and the universe. Yoda was instructed by Qui-Gon Jinn’s spirit to learn how to manifest his consciousness after death, so the priestesses put him through some tests to see if he was worthy. The Priestess appears as five separate creatures, each representing joy, confusion, peace, anger, and sadness. According to Dave Filoni, a Force Priestess can be a single being that transforms into multiples over time, with a limited ability to manifest itself in various forms.

Dybendu was the forerunner of the Jedi Order, creating the first hologram and later symbol representing the Galactic Republic. Star Wars According to legend, they were known as the Dai Bendu Knights, some of their members being Force-sensitive groups brought to the planet Tyson to form the Je’daii Knights. The word Je’Daii is taken from Dai Bendu language, “Je” means mystery and “Dai” means center.
